Prices in the table below indicate the cost of each services, however an exact price can only be given once we see the garment, material and understand the complexity of the alterations required.

Personal Fitting Service and Alteration Service

Novelette Novalis is happy for you to visit us or provide a home Consultation for Personal Fitting or fitting prior to alteration. During the fitting we will fine-tune the fit, add or modify design details and adjust proportions. Be sure that you wear suitable undergarments and shoes that will be worn with finish apparel; this applies to male
and female. Because figure can change which become obvious depend on the undergarments worn especially the position and fullness of the bust. It is only during these fittings that the subtleties of fit are realised.

The client’s posture is taken into consideration, how he or she carries their arms. The slope of the shoulders, Is the neck short or long? We call attention to the swell of female bust. Is hers a fleshy figure, and if so, where is the flesh distributed? How much cleavage does she want to show? Approximately 2-4 fittings will be required for one off attire made from style chosen from designs; alterations are 1-2 fittings as the styling of design may change
slightly according to customer decisions.

Delivery

Delivery time is approximately 4 to 6 weeks depending on the complexity of the design. An Express Service of 1 week attracts a 25% express charge.

Payment

• An estimate will be provided before any work is undertaken.
• All alterations must be paid for in advance.
• The fitting rate is £20 per hour, if fit at studio it is £15 per hour.
• If a delivery service is required, it will be charged accordingly.
• For home consultations the hourly fitting rate is £35.
• Storage for mens suits and dresses will be charged at £2.00 per week
• Emergencies attract a 20% express charge.
